The group recently moved online and we have been getting our existing members onto our new Online Scout Manager system.
If any existing members have not yet registered then please do so. We might not be back doing face to face meetings yet but we hope to be set-up and ready to go when we do. We'll also be using OSM and email for most communications with parents going forward.
If you have still to register then complete our waiting list form.
Once you have been added to the waiting list you'll be transferred into your section. You'll then receive an email with a link to access the system. Once into the system please complete all the available fields. For any members we do not recognise you will remain on the waiting list for now until we have ensured our existing members have had a chance to register.
When you first click the link in the email you'll be taken to the login page. Click on the "Create Account" link and complete your details.
Once into the system please complete all the details under the "Personal Details" section.
Once you have completed the Personal Details sections and filled in Primary Contacts 1 and 2, emergency contact and your member's Doctors details. You can also enter the member's email address here if you wish meaning they can receive communications from us. Don't worry, signing up for camps and events will only be accessible from a parents email address.
Once you've done that scroll down and complete the Essential Information and Consent sections.
Make sure you do this for each child you have registered with the group and please ensure the information is accurate and up to date. You can log in to the system using the account you created at any time and update any of your information.
The great thing is, once you've entered all of your information here you won't need to do it again. This system replaces consent forms for camps and the membership form you normally complete at the start of each term.
When you first enter the information you should see a confirm button at the top of the page. Please give this a click. This lets us see that a parent has confirmed the information is correct.

The group will be moving to a cashless system for all payments and subscriptions. We're still confirming some details and getting OSM setup to accept payments. We'll have more details soon about costs and how to pay.
Please bear in mind we are aware of sub payments made just before lockdown started and we are also aware people paid for the Lochgoilhead camp that was cancelled due to Covid-19. We'll put out information soon once we've confirmed a few things. If you need to talk to us about anything then please get in touch.
The group has moved online very quickly and with a small team of volunteers setting everything up. We will shortly be publishing our data protection agreement so you will be able to see exactly why and how we store your information. This will ensure the group is in line with current data protection regulations. In the meantime, you can visit OSM's security page here.
Data will be mostly held and accessed electronically but for camps and expeditions, we will take print outs of peoples details so we always have access even in remote areas. If you ever change details relatively close to an event or camp please let us know so we can ensure we're taking the latest contact details with us.
