All of our sections meet in either the new or old St Andrews Church halls located on church street just off Baillieston main street. This gives us a nice central location for young people across Baillieston and the East End of Glasgow to reach us for Scouting.
We'll also use these halls as meeting places if heading further afield on provided transport.
Parking is relatively limited at the church. There is on street parking in front of both halls , a car park to the rear of the main church building and more on street parking going down Muirhead Road. We ask all our members and visitors to please be mindful of local residents and not to block or anyone's access.
We have a number of excellent local locations not far from the Scout hall that we make regular use of for various section nights.
Scout Adventures operate several Scout focussed outdoor centres all over the UK. We are lucky enough to have some of the best sites a short drive from Glasgow and we'll almost always visit at least one or two of them per year for some adventures.
You'll be hard pressed to find a Scout from Glasgow that hasn't been to several Auchengillan camps.
A little further we have Fordell Firs doubling as the HQ for Scouts Scotland. It offers a huge range or activities.
Located in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Lochgoilhead offers some of the best water sports based adventures in Scotland.
