Smurfit Kappa Foundation Fuels New Adventures for Our Scouts 

We are thrilled to announce that our Scout group has been awarded a generous grant from the Smurfit Kappa Foundation. This funding will enable us to replace and upgrade our equipment, ensuring our young people have access to the best resources for their adventures. The foundation, dedicated to supporting projects that improve the lives of children and young people, shares our commitment to fostering growth, education, and exploration.

This grant comes at a pivotal time for our group. With modernized expedition equipment, we can offer more opportunities for our members to engage in Scouting to its fullest. Older Scouts will now be better equipped to pursue their Duke of Edinburgh Awards, gaining valuable skills and experiences, while our younger members can enjoy exciting camps and trips that nurture teamwork, resilience, and a love for the outdoors. These upgrades will also allow us to grow as a group, welcoming new members to share in the joy and adventure of Scouting.
